Hub 3

My hub 3 randomly stops working 3 times a day, but it doesn't happen at certain times. I want to know how I could get a replacement or even better upgrade to the hub 4 since I had the same issue and since my speeds are very low

Stops working - how?

Is it only evident on wifi connections or do you see the issues at the same times on devices connected on ethernet cables? If you don't know, can you check to help diagnose whether it is just a wifi issue or it could be network connection related?

And... what are the various Hub lights showing/doing when this happens?

Can you post your Hub status and logs?
Someone should be spot if there is a problem
Navigate to http://192.168.0.1 (or http://192.168.100.1 - if in modem mode)
Don't log in!
Click on 'router status'
Copy/paste the data from each of the tabs. The forum software will remove the MAC addresses for you (you may need to click the 'post' button again).

Also, set up a 'Broadband Quality Monitor'. This will monitor the state of your connection and record any network dropouts etc - You can do this at ThinkBroadband (https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality)
Give it a while to gather data and then click 'Share Live graph' and paste the 'Direct Link' into the forum!

It starts flashing yellow or green when it stops working

Sounds to me like the hub is losing connection to the CMTS!

Post up the hub stats - let's see if anything stands out!

SOme of your downstream channels are too low power-wise!

That'll need VM to book a Tech to rectify!

(Unless there's an attenuator at the end of the cable going into the hub - if there is, remove it and your connection will likely improve!)
