Hub 3 not connecting to connect app

Just got my virgin fibre broadband installed on saturday by an engineer and can't get the connect app to connect to the hub, keeps saying hub 3 not found, tried resetting hub, clearing app data etc and also deleting / reinstalling the app and still not connecting.

The Hub 3 is not the problem, save yourself the down time Hub resets will not fix this one.

The VM Connect app is quite flaky - it will connect it might take a few days.

Manage the Hub 3 at http://192.168.0.1  - the Hub 3 password in the numeric one from the sticker on the bottom side.

Speed test the Hub with https://www.samknows.com/realspeed/   once the test starts click Run full test to see all the figures
