Hub 3 frequently restarting and Partial Service (DS only)

For quite some time the hub frequently restarts and now have Partial Service (DS only) on Internet Status.

Checked cables and Connectors and those fine and tight. Have tried rebooting Hub twice but to no avail.

I wait for your reply with solution and/or next step to try.

Your Downstream Power Levels are far too low.

Your Upstream Power Levels are maxed out.

This will need an engineer to put right.

You can either phone in (08:00 is the best time) or wait on here for a few days (6 to 7 days average) until one of the VM Forum Staff comes along.

If you wait on here Do Not bump the thread it will put it further down the VM 'to do list'.

I am still waiting for someone from Virgin Media to get back to me on this issue. I have also messaged twice with the Hub stats attached but no joy that way either. 

Have tried calling few times but never get past automated voice stating all call centres closed and press '1' if wish link to help page sent to mobile otherwise the call is then terminated.

  • Into virginmedia app
  • Select broadband
  • Select issues with your hub
  • Select troubleshooting your hub
  • Takes you to Troubleshooting your virgin media hub
  • Select more articles or get in touch
  • Select Contact us
  • In contact us screen click on message us.
  • You can then send them a message including any attachments.

I am reposting this on the same thread as although now marked as solved it has in fact NOT been solved and still waiting for someone from Virgin Media Technical team to get back to me.

Below is the Stats for my Hub 3 as of this evening (2 November 2020) and the Internet status is still saying 'Partial Service (DS only). I am also still waiting for one of the tech guys from Virgin Media to reply and I have also text messaged them on 07533 051809 which refers them to this post/thread.

Your Downstream Power Levels are too low.

Your Upstream Power Levels are too high.

This will need an engineer to put right.

You can either phone in (08:00 is the best time) or wait on here for a few days (6 to 7 days average) until one of the VM Forum Staff comes along.

If you wait on here Do Not bump the thread it will put it further down the VM 'to do list'.
