Hub 3 Orientation

HI all

Just about to try using tp-link ax60 and putting the hub into modem mode but as I won't be using the hub's wifi, can it be laid on its side, hidden out of sight?

Cheers

Re: Hub 3 Orientation

It'd probably work, but you do risk disrupting airflow across a large passive heatsink inside the hub that's normally vertically mounted, and that could increase the risk of overheating.  In an out-of-sight location that's not a good thing, so I'd be inclined to keep it in the normal upright position.

Re: Hub 3 Orientation

Thanks for the quick reply. I have a built in corner of the lounge which houses sky q, xbox etc and just keeps things looking tidy. I'll have to rethink the strategy!!
