Hub 3 Only reliable in modem mode

Had massive drop out issues over period of months. Insisted on new router which helped a bit but eventually found by trial and error that only way to completely solve the dropouts was to put Hub 3 in modem mode and use my Linksys Velop as router. Problem partly solved except that without the extra WiFi node ( since the old hub acted as a WiFi access point) access is limited in furthest part of house and garage. I think the issue is the Hub 3 cannot manage the numbers of WiFi connections. I have wondered whether hub 4 might eventually solve my issues but recent posts seem to say not available to lower package speed users ( retired peasants like me!) Any ideas or suggestions? VM - do you listen ever? I found the VM customer support to be about the worst I have ever dealt with!

Re: Hub 3 Only reliable in modem mode

suggestion is to keep it in modem mode, and invest in improving your WIFI range.

Re: Hub 3 Only reliable in modem mode

Trouble is an extra Velop node is quite expensive!
