Hub 3 In Modem Mode - No Network

I've switched my Hub 3 to modem mode to improve my wi-fi  connectivity and connected a TP-Link Deco Mesh system to port no. 4 and it has made an amazing difference to W-fi around the house. But..... I no longer get network services (catch up and on demand) on my Tivo box. Tried connecting an unmanaged switch connected to port no. 4 and connected the Hub ethernet cable and Deco cable to it - wi-fi is still OK but still no network services on the TV. Help!

You connect the switch to the other port of the TP-Link Deco.

When in modem mode one and only one port is active on the VM hub and this port must be connected directly to your own router/prime mesh unit. All equipment must then be connected to your own router/prime mesh unit. ,
