Over the past month or two, my Hub 3 has been constantly rebooting. It's just done it six times in three hours.
It is in modem mode. Also worth noting is the fact that the box on the outside of my house where the VM wires come in has been damaged over the years by refuse collectors, window cleaners, etc., with the cables protruding.
I've tried recycling the Hub, to no avail. Possibly trying a new hub would help (I've had it for years), or perhaps it's the box on the house wall?
VM hubs very very rarely reboot. What happens is they lose their connection to the VM CMTS ( the other end of your cable ) and try to reconnect, they then keep on trying until the connection is established. It’s often due to circuit problems, bad connections or noise ingress. Please go into your hub on 192.168.100.1 and post your up/downstream stats and network log.

Thank you for reaching out with your broadband issues, I'm sorry that you've been having trouble with your hub.
I can't see any evidence of your equipment struggling to maintain a connection on the network. However, the downstream SNR being reported by your hub is a little low on some channels. I'd be happy to arrange an engineer visit to look into this for you. If they identify that the damaged omnibox is the underlying cause, they will go ahead and replace this for you.
Of course, we'd never request sensitive information via an open platform so I'll send you a private message to complete account security and get everything booked in. Please head to the purple envelope in the top right corner to respond.
