Hub 3.0 Red Light

Hi all,

For the last month or so the power light on my hub 3.0 has been showing as red, and not the white it once was.

The hub is in router mode, is not in an enclosed space and it's been in the same place since we have Virgin Broadband installed almost a decade ago.

The WiFi drops on it at least once a day.

It's worth noting that the Hub has been switched off and on again more times that I can count, along with a number of 'factory resets' none of which have made any difference to the issue.

I'm posting this the hope that a member of the Virgin team see this and offer help as I've been 'told off' for contacting a member of the team via direct message.

Are you able to let me know, is your hub in modem mode or router mode?

Sorry about that @DougiePR 

 

I missed that, the red light could mean that the hub is overheating we are best to get this replaced, at the moment the hub 3 stock is protected due to a stocking issue, therefor we will need to get an engineer out. 

 

I will pop you over a PM so that I can confirm your address.

Thank for confirming that information via PM.

 

I have booked the engineer to attend.  you can check the time and date via your online account, once there if you want to change the time and date you are able to do so.
