You can have a chat message through the VM Connect app. It starts with a bot, but you can get through to a human eventually!

Hi, thanks for the info but I think my pod is DOA. It doesn't light up at all. I have had 1 already and that worked fine.

Yeah, I tried going through the chat on the app but me and the bot just went round and round in circles. I tried answering with just a random reply but it kept asking me if I wanted more info on WiFi max 🙄

I suppose I will have to call them

Anyone know what number and options I use to get through to someone? I have tried the chat and just go round in circles and I called the number it gives and it just does a test on the line and then says goodbye and cuts me off.

Any ideas of being able to speak to a human to get a replacement pod sent?

Cheers

Hi there, i have also got the gigabit broadband deal but i never recieved a wifi pod booster as i am told they come free with the deal? My wifi runs slow and inconsisitently in one of the rooms in my house and this is why it would be incredibly helpful to get one/two to help with the strength of the signal. Is there any chance i may be able to get one?

Hi @BenCuiffe

You need to use the Connect app to perform the Home Scan in the area where the signal is low(est) .

The app should fine tune your connection and make it stronger in your various rooms and then if yuo meet the criteria order a pod for you.

Please try following the instructions <<< here >>>

If that doesn't work  you can also call by calling 0800 064 3850 to order a pod (they will only send out one at a time, and there must be an interval of at least one week before a second order will be accepted)

Call around 8am if possible when lines first open and are least busy.

They are free if you are on the Gig1 package, or Ultimate Oomph, or on a Volt bundle, however if you are on any other package then they are £8  a month.

I would also like to get WiFi pods. I've done a scan using virgin connect app and multiple rooms have no or poor WiFi, but can't figure out how to get them. I too am a Volt customer

Were you able to follow the steps and advice in newapollo's previous post lebat1980? If so, did they help in arranging the pod's since your post?
