Yes you can run a cable to the bedroom and terminate with a switch. From the switch you can cable a WiFi access point and your PC.  You can get flat Ethernet cable as well for running under carpets btw if that would be neater.  Cable can also be run externally as well.

They always attenuate speeds no matter what. My lad gets ~60 on our 200 package (and his Solwise PA's have gigabit ports.

TP-Link AV1300 covers a few "models" - which one is it and does it have 1GB ethernet ports - if not and they are 10/100 - then the max speed (before the maims attenuation) will be 100mbps.
