High latency and packet loss

Hi, been having some high latency and packet loss for the past few weeks out of nowhere and its been alot worse since the national outage.

The most useful and up to date info comes from the 0800 561 0061 number. Try that to see if there are any faults that the web service hasn't picked up!

checked the phone line and no known issues with broadband in the area

Can you post your latest hub stats - I want to see if your D/S PostRS errors are increasing!

i did do a full pin reset on the hub a few days ago, before that i had zero post RS errors and now i have quite a few

Looks like they haven't risen since the reset - they *can* come all in a glut while the hub negotiates its channels.

So how would i go about someone being able to look into this in more detail, is it just a case of wait until a virgin employee reply's or?

 

the broadband live chart is quite concerning i must say and does correlate to what i have been experiencing.

 

i have checked all the cable connections and made sure they are tight and secure.

 

i have done 2 full resets since the national outage and the first reset i had zero post RS errors but after the second one thats when i first noticed i was getting them.

AYe - that's the best bet. Offshore CS will just try to sell you a speed upgrade to cure the problem... (Sad but true)

did a power cycle of the modem and its getting even worse, the connection is completely f'd i cant use game on this

Hi, I've noticed this as well since the national outage. The BQM shows this as well as my pfsense router. It's strange and quite annoying.
