Pre RS are errors found with the signal coming into the HUB.

Post RS are errors that couldn't be corrected by the HUB.

I have a feeling that you'll need an engineer visit to fit a lower level db device as a 15db increase will be too much, however we'll see in the stats.

I see, so is that what happens when my connection does a full drop out and the HUB can't sort it out?

Just took the attenuator out, the internet actually came back WAY faster than it usually does when I turn it off.

The power level is now too high!

As I thought you'll need an engineer visit.

It's up to you if you leave it as is and keep an eye on stability however it might be just as bad or worse than before!

Oh no! Should I fit the attenuator again? I'll be honest, everything is running fine and I haven't had any drop outs since taking it off so its already better than it was before!!

Do I book one through here or do I need to call up?

I'll leave it off for now and monitor it through the BQM, if it plays up tomorrow I'll put it back in place!

Regarding contacting VM either text 07533051809 or wait for a VM staff member to respond on here, which can take a day or two depending on active threads.

But do you get packet loss without the attenuator?
