Hi my wi-fi is extremely  slow on all the devices. It all started when I received a error message stating that www.wifiext certificate is not to be trusted. I have no idea what that is as I’ve never used it. This message only shows when I’m using the wi-fi.

please see images attached.

Re: Help think my wifi has been hacked?? ??

Yes we are using a netgear extender. It seems the third party net gear has been hacked? As whenever I switch it on, only then I receive this error message and the internet is super slow. My sisters phone is also receiving the same error message so it’s not just my device.therefore I believe it’s been hacked? What can I do about this? I need the extender as it reaches my bedroom.

I have never used https://www.mywifiext.net/ though? Usually the extender works by itself.

Maybe. I’ve **bleep** down  my phone and don’t seem to be getting this issue anymore. Just going to wait and see if it pops up again

Also  should I be concerned that the network in unsecured?
