Help: Internet (wifi & ethernet) cuts out at 00:15 every night like clockwork

The internet cuts out every single night roughly between midnight and half past.

I've tried going through the online steps of resetting and so and so but I just feel like I'm being sent in circles with no actual solution being offered. Please help.

Re: Help: Internet (wifi & ethernet) cuts out at 00:15 every night like clockwork

This is usually the time that VM will reboot the system at their end if they have been doing some work. It usually only continues for a few days. How long has it been going on?

Also, in the meantime... if you haven’t already, set up a free and secure “Broadband Quality Monitor” to continually monitor the state of your connection and record any true network dropouts , latency issues, packet drops, etc - it will thus allow you to differentiate between those and simple wifi dropouts. It does it 24/7/365 and it keeps a visual record of any/all of your network disconnections, useful data to have to match to the Network logs (in your Hub settings) and also in discussions with VM - note it will take a few hours to start seeing a sensible picture - post up the “link” to the “share live graph” (as per instructions on the TB website) when it starts to develop.

This problem has been happening since the virgin was first installed back in October.

I've set up a broadband quality monitor, do I post the data via share live graph, back to you after a couple of days?

Hello,

I have now also been experiencing a couple of other issues with internet connection.

1. it's just cut out thorough the day a few times a few days ago, refusing to even accept that an ethernet connection exists. I did a factory reset and it solved this but added to the other issues I'm not happy.

2. Now every time I turn on my personal desktop computer (using Ethernet connection) I don't have a connection and I have to troubleshoot every single time.

Each of these problems are not the end of the world, but in total I am very unhappy with the internet service I've received as of yet.

If anyone could please advise that would be great.
