HUB4 Port forwarding (Private VPN / VPN tunnel)

Hello,

I'd like to create a VPN tunnel that enables me to connect with my devices from anywhere, as if Iwere at home.

I will get 2 VPN routers: one will act as a VPN server at my home, always powered on and connected to my home Internet connection. The other router will act as a VPN client that travels with me.

The VPN router company gave me the instructions to setup the server and client routers, but I will need to configure the VM Hub4 router as well, I suppose, to open the ports.

I'm new to this, is there someone who knows how to do it?

Thank you for any help you will provide!

All you need to do is put hub in modem mode your VPN routers do the rest

Hi,

so no need to configure the Port Forwarding on my Hub4 router if in modem mode?

Thanks

No, when the Hub is in Modem mode, it's just a Bridge between your Router and the Internet.  It's basically a dumb modem at this point.  It serves no router or wifi functions at all.  These are all done by your own Router.

Hello viaggidinino.

Welcome to our Community and thanks for your post.

Can I just ask if you have managed to set the Hub into modem mode okay and set up your VPN?

Hi Gareth, I will update you when I will get the VPN routers
