Gig1 Dropping Out

Here is my graph for today:

Broadband Quality Monitor | thinkbroadband

It just dropped with no warning. I thought I had fixed this after resetting the Hub to factory defaults but clearly not. It drops completely out for no reason, this has happened for weeks now.

Check router status on http://192.168.0.1/ is completely blank.

You can post your HUB 4 stats by accessing 'Advanced settings / Tools / Network status', once logged in (There is a bug in the HUB 4 software so the 'Check Router Status' page doesn't work).

'Downstream', 'Upstream', and 'Network Log' tabs please.

You may need to create multiple posts and occasionally an error occurs (Just click 'Post' a second time!).

The stats don't look to bad to be honest, however there are a large number of errors being corrected on the DOCSIS 3.1 channel:

Looking at your BQM it appears you do have an intermittent issue on your line (Or local area).

Have you tried reporting it to VM yet? (I know the lines are really busy currently).

Thanks for the reply. I'll report to VM. I did consider that this could be a problem with the Hub - would this be reflected in the above logs? When we first had problems it appeared the Hub would constantly reset itself for no reason, although that behaviour does seem to have gone away since resetting the hub.

Difficult to tell, however yes, it could be hardware related.
