Getting large packet loss and high ping HUB 3 [Posted BQM and Router status]

Hi

So I've been experiencing major packet loss and and high ping from my router ever since I came back from Uni in December.

I tried narrowing the problem down by:

-Using a 10m cat8 ethernet cable instead of a powerline

-Removing all devices from the router and only one device connected

-Resetting the router

-Ensured that all wires are connected properly

-Ensured the coaxial cable connected to the wall isn't damaged

-Cleaning the router

But nothing seem to help the problem. Before I call an engineer, I'd like to know if there are anything else I could do so at least we won't have to troubleshoot the problem and waste time.

p.s. I am still getting fast download speed (129 -190Mbps) using Google's internet speed test so I have that going for me, which is nice.

[Semi-Solved] Check your firewall settings

So I had another look at my hub settings (accessed by entering the IP address of you router, details can be found on your router) realised that not all of my firewall settings are checked. Specifically the "Block fragmented IP packets" option. After checking that, my performance has been. I still get packet loss and ping spikes but a lot more manageable.
