Frequent Disconnections Backed up by SamKnows White Box Stats
Since early January 2021, my connection drops regularly throughout the day. The disconnections and drop outs varied from a few seconds to minutes, however in the last 2 weeks I have had no day where the connection has not dropped. A theme a noticed was daily between 5:30-7:00PM it would disconnect without fail during that window. Prior to January, I was with Virgin for a year and had less than 5 dropouts throughout that period. Since upgrading from 50MB to 200MB package after a month the stability has been poor.
I have recently reinstalled a spare Ofcom SamKnows White Box where you can see clear the amount of drop outs and frequency. Over the last 18 days there has been in excess of 5hrs 30mins of downtime which is far from acceptable. Grateful if you can investigate if there is a wider issue here.
My setup is with a Hub 3 in modem mode > UniFi USG > Sam Knows White Box > UniFi POE Switch > UniFi AP. The network setup remains the same prior to upgrading and recontracting in December 2020.

Hi Matt - It was interesting or maybe a coincidence that the day this was set up, I had no drop outs whatsover! However, as you probably can see looking at the monitor it has disconnected a fair few times which is typical of the past month although stability has been extremely poor this morning resulting in me having to tether to my mobile for work as the connection was so unstable and I was connected via LAN rather than WiFi. See stats from SamKnows Box which further supports this.
Have you had any luck with your investigation or have any initial thoughts?
