Flashing lights!

Morning, yesterday my broadband connection disappeared! On my hub I have a stable green light on power button and green flashing arrows and green flashing WiFi logo thingy! I've tried rebooting. Then actually resetting using reset on the back. According to Virgin there are no problems in the area.

Before I spend hours holding on is the any way I can live chat or phone without it costing me a fortune in gig or phone!
