Extending Range with Ethernet?

Apologies in advance for the possibly stupid questions, but this is the first time i'm trying this..... I need to get wifi to the end of the garden and was wondering the best way to do this. Is it possible to run an ethernet cable from the virgin box (V6 i think) whilst still having wifi in the house? And if so, what do I connect at the other end in order to get wifi (if possible) in the shed / office? Can i use a wifi booster or will I need something else and if so do you have any recommendations? The connection might be used for streaming, but mainly office work and definitely not gaming. I have tried a regular 'plug in' Wifi booster, but they do not reach that far I'd be grateful for any advice Thanks very much!

Re: Extending Range with Ethernet?

You can get cat6 external cable to run from the hub
https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=cat6+external+cable&crid=2PDGH1R1UD9HZ&sprefix=cat6+ex%2Caps%2C140&ref=...
and then to a AP
https://www.amazon.co.uk/NETGEAR-Wireless-Access-Business-WAC104-100UKS/dp/B01LWUJU8H/ref=sr_1_1?dch...

Or you can get a better wireless router with 1Gb ports and have the hub in modem mode should the above need it.
