We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with your email updating when connected to your home WiFi. You mentioned it works via mobile data but have you tried connecting to a non VM WiFi network outside the home?
Is it just the one VM hotspot showing or are there others showing? If it's just the one, this would be from your hub so you would still be connecting to the same hub.
Please let us know how things are via another WiFi network.
