I’ve had my echo dot for years. I recently had to change my router and since then I cannot connect my echo dot to the WiFi. I have an echo plus and flex that have connected fine.
I’m not sure if it is an access thing and whether I can do something using the VM connect app.
Any ideas are gladly welcome.
I have since solved this issue.
To have it connect I turned the echo dot off at the socket. I then turned my router off, waited 30 seconds and turned it back on.
Once the router was working I then turned the echo dot back on and the setup was successful.
I’m pretty sure I tried this before but hey, I’m not complaining. I’m just glad it’s fixed.
