I have been trying to downgrade my package for a while now. But every time I go to the cancel and downgrade part of the website when I click on downgrade, it comes up with a 404 error, and it says that that webpage was removed. Even by doing this, there is no way to downgrade my package and I have tried multiple devices friends wifi. To see if the website was removed and it was so I can no longer access the downgrade page. I hope this is fixed because I do not want to be paying £170 for my contract once it runs out

Hi @PhilipBower
You can regrade online, however there isn't a web page to downgrade your package.
You can though log into https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media and click on upgrade package. There may be an offer there which isn't what you want as you can't reduce services there, but there should be a link to the online chat messenger service where you can discuss downgrading.
The quickest contact method though is by calling either 150 from a VM landline or mobile, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone, call around 8am if possible when lines first open and are least busy.
You can also speak to the team on WhatsApp on 0730 532 7112 but this method can take 4 to 6 hours as phone calls take priority.

I don’t know how I’m supposed to get it to work. Unless Virgin Media are doing maintenance or something. It’s scaring me a bit.
