Amazingly frustrating experience with virgin media where I’ve been charged twice for my final bill of £290. I paid it manually after viewing the bill suggested that I’d been late to pay the bill. Also haven’t received any email of any sort about my final bill breakdown. Can’t even contact anyone with my phone as my services have been disconnected. Currently looking at my next course of action.

Sorry to hear about your issue, from how this sounds it seems like you Direct Debit was still active when you made the manual payment, if this has happened, then the payment will be sent back to you via cheque within 45 days of the account disconnection.
