Disable Advanced Network Error??

I cannot disable the annoying Advanced Network Error page. Have tried all the suggestions I can find on here, but still this page appears. I don't even understand why VM would think anyone would want to see it?

Is there some way someone at Virgin Media can stop it appearing for me please?

Re: Disable Advanced Network Error??

You could run your own DNS or just use 1.1.1.1,8.8.8.8 or 9.9.9.9

Re: Disable Advanced Network Error??

Issue has been flagged to the forum team who are best placed to take this forward to resolution however be aware it can take them a few days to respond. In the meantime can you confirm making changes at Advanced Network Error Search has no affect.

Re: Disable Advanced Network Error??

Yes, I can confirm that making changes to the Advanced Network Error Search has no effect, I still see the Virgin Media page.

Router has been turned off multiple times too, but no change.

Re: Disable Advanced Network Error??

Hi

Thanks, but that's the one I've been using - it is already set to not show.

Re: Disable Advanced Network Error??

Can you try clearing cache/cookies and also reboot of the device you're using?

Re: Disable Advanced Network Error??

This is a brand new computer, and I'm still seeing the Advanced Network Error Search page.

The error page tells me I can switch it off, but when I go to do that it shows that it's already switched off.

Re: Disable Advanced Network Error??

Thanks, I'm marking your answer as helpful in terms of NOT being a solution. As you say, clearing cache and cookies won't have an affect on a redirect.
