Device to Router intermittently very slow / timeouts

Hi,

I've been getting this issue for many months now but it's getting more frequent i thought i'd try and get it sorted.  At random times, it seems that my broadband connection is dropping or at least going very slow for some or all devices (obviously laptops and phones are easy to recognise the signs others, not so much!).  Interestingly enough, during one of these episodes i tried to access the data on the router in case it had anything useful but accessing 192.168.0.1 timed out.  I did try after that and it did load after about 30 seconds.  I suspect it's something to do with the router - is there anything i could specifically look for to nail down the problem?  I've included the link to think broadband and the downstream/upstream data.  Would be great to get his resolved as it's a real bane of my life at the moment.

On previous occasions, i have reset the router but as it keeps happening, that obviously isn't having any positive effect

Re: Device to Router intermittently very slow / timeouts

Looks like a connection issue T3 timeouts and PostRS errors are never good. But we dont have the full picture - post up the Logs and a proper link to your BQM's "share live graph" - the one above points to the login page !

Re: Device to Router intermittently very slow / timeouts

All stats ane BQM look fine.

Are you seeing the issues on ethernet connected devices at the same time as wifi ones? If you dont know - can you test it.

Re: Device to Router intermittently very slow / timeouts

Apologies for the delay in replying, needed to buy a USB-C to Ethernet adapter as i realised i have no devices left with an ethernet port!

I've just experienced some small delays where web pages were taking ~10 seconds to load, tried in via Ethernet and had the same issue there

Re: Device to Router intermittently very slow / timeouts

Hi bod1611

Thanks for posting. My apologies for the delayed reply and the broadband issues.

I've checked the systems today and no issues are showing.

I can see the hub has been online for nearly a month, could you try a reboot of this as this potentially will help.

Also if everything has not been resolved, could you set up a BQM and post it?

Kind regards,

Re: Device to Router intermittently very slow / timeouts

Hi,

I'll try the reset later once my kids have went to bed - i have tried this in the past to no avail.

And as if by magic, i've just sat down to watch a program recorded from one V6 box onto another and have got the 'Network Too Slow (V69)' message which i've never had before.  Could this be related as it seems to imply it's to do with the wireless network rather than internet connectivity?

In the last week, i have seen delays in connecting to the router page (192.168.0.1) with both wireless and a noticeable delay on ethernet connection too.
