Cut through neighbours VM cable

My husband has accidentally cut through my neighbours virgin media cable whilst trimming their ivy which was hanging over our side of the fence.  It looks like it was originally fastened to their garage wall, however the ivy has brought it away from its fixings so he didnt even see it in amongst the ivy.

They're away at the moment.  Will this be an easy fix for virgin engineer to do, and do they charge??

Re: Cut through neighbours VM cable

there will be no charge - they may want to pull a new cable but should be able to do a temp repair to get things up and running

will flag this and hopefully a VM agent can get a tech booked - might not be able to as they may want account details

@ModTeam - can you help
