Currently using VPN, , DNS server returning Website which is incorrect

When working on  VPN,

I am finding Virgin Media DNS server are giving a website back which does not exist.

There appears to be a Rouge URL which is pointing to 92.242.231.24.

How do we get this removed

Hello

Have you turned off https://my.virginmedia.com/advancederrorsearch/settings as this can cause issues sometimes with VPN.

HI Mike Robbo yes I do get same when not using VPN.

This does seem to be happening from DNS servers which Virgin media is pointing me to

Have you tried changing your DNS Server to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1

Hi Mike,

I think this is the problem, I am having this same issue with all the users that are working for same company as me, that use Virgin media.

 

we have checked internal dns servers, the do not have the record.

 

I do appreciate your input as it all helps
