Critical errors

Hi,

I'm not sure if I'm getting a slightly unstable connection, so I checked the logs and I had a few critical errors:

I saw some other threads about this, but they say to check your downstream and upstream, however, I don't know what the proper levels should look like

We have had some work done recently, so I don't know if there's still an issue.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks

Re: Critical errors

Everything looks fine - except down channel 19 has postRS errors - it shouldnt. So to see if it is a real issue switch the Hub off and unplug it for a few minutes and then start up. When done, check back in the settings and ensure that the RS error counts have all reset to 0. Then check every hour or two for the next day or two to see if they start reappearing - they shouldn't.

So what exact issues are you having and are they happening on both ethernet cable connected devices and the wifi ones?

Re: Critical errors

I was getting intermittent lag spikes and I couldn't tell if it was from the services I was using externally, or my own equipment/ISP. I've reset the router and the PostRS errors have cleared and have yet to return.

I'll keep an eye on it over the coming days, thanks John.

Is there a guide anywhere that can tell you this stuff? I'm IT literate, but this is not my area of expertise
