My internet went down a week ago (last Friday) I reported it and was told that I needed a new router.  I was told that it would take 2 working days.  As this was Friday and we had the weekend in between I expected it to get here on Tuesday - Wednesday at the latest.  I've had no communication relating to the order and when I've tried to contact Virgin I'm either cut off or a recording tells me that they can see I got a Quickstart router on order (ironic I know) .  I've tried numerous times to talk to a human but to no avail.

I am a key-worker working from home and I am also responsible for my grandsons home schooling.  I am totally reliant on the internet not only for my work but for my entertainment as my TV and Alexa  are all online only.  I've just up all the data on my mobile and quite frankly I'm at my wits end.  It's bad enough being on lock-down and this certainly isn't helping.  Can someone get back to me asap please
