I have a NAS Drive and yes it has in built port mapping abilities (what decent one wouldn't?) but it's secure and running as expected. I keep getting letters about this device on my network, it's properly set up and all security steps have been taken. But for the life of me I can't get them to shut up about it.

What exactly do the letters suggest is happening?

It literally just says the device can map ports (Yes it's designed to...) and says if misconfigured that it could be used for nefarious purposes etc...
It's a home server that I have locked down, only the ports I need and use are left open and even then precautions and security software protects and monitors all access.
