Hi,
I have been experiencing connectivity issues for a few days now, but last night it became much worse.
I have a gig1 connection. I have been running a BQM from thinkbroadband since last night.
can anyone help please

Can we check… are your issues only evident on wifi connections or do you see them at the same times on devices connected on ethernet cables? If you don't know, can you check to help diagnose whether it is just a wifi issue or it could be network connection/Hub related?

I’m actually running most of connections wired, and I’m running a centrally managed Wi-Fi system through 3 ceiling mounted WiFi access points so the hub is running in modem mode into the gateway. The gateway is currently droppping ICMP ping packets as it believes it to be an attack, hence the graph showing 100% packet loss - I will rectify this when I’m back home later.
The issue is both WiFi and wired, it’s definitely an upstream issue.

EDIT: Sorry missed reading the bottom of your post re. pings ! got distracted by the BQM 😎
The BQM is a wall of red! Can be for several reasons.
Your network connectivity has gone - so check for any “known network faults in your location - Look in 2 places
1) Try the “check service,”Area status webpage (https://www.virginmedia.com/help/service-status)
2) Then also Try the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues and fix estimates, down to street cab/ postcode level.
OR... your ip address may have changed - so check what it is and its the same as in the BQM settings page
OR... your router has stopped responding to echo requests (pings) - are you using your own router or the VM Hub's router? Check that any "allow/respond to pings/echo requests" box is ticked (yes you are!)

To follow on....
If there are no known issues, Post up your Hub/network connection details and someone will check to see if there is a problem there. In your browser’s URL box type in http://192.168.0.1 (or http://192.168.100.1 - if in modem mode) (DONT click these links) - and hit return. No need to log in - just click on the “Router Status” icon/text at bottom-middle of the Login page.
Then… Navigate to these “data pages” and just copy/paste the normal “Formatted Text” (not images) 3 FULL sets of data onto here – 2 tables from the Downstream, 2 from the Upstream, & the Network Logs pages. Don't worry too much about the formatting it can be easily read & DON’T include personal data or MAC addresses - blank them out - if you copy/paste the data, the board software will do this for you (you may need to click the "submit" button again). If character limits are “exceeded” - just do two posts

Thats a dreadful connection 😡
Down power levels are all way too high and there are unacceptable numbers of PostRS errors and Up T errors - if there is no known issue it will need a Tech visit
