Connections keep dropping

Why is the wifi connectivity so poor with VM. Constantly having to drop and reconnect to the wifi.  Virgin connect can't find the hub sometimes.  Even when I am getting 100mb spped test results.   Got a pod which gives better speed in poor areas.  But the connections are garbage.  And the support!   Waiting hours online chat.  Pointless having fast wifi if you can't connect to it.   And the potential answer of putting h the hub in modem mode and buying a new router!  Why should we.  We pay for equipment that should supply a decent service.  BT kit was so much better.  What are my options?  Do the hub 4 or 5 fair any better?

Hub4/5 have no better wifi than the Hub3.

You have Pods and they are garbage - then you can claim compensation....

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired 2 WiFi,) SH2 in modem mode with Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On VIVID200, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.
