Connect app

Hi, I am unable to connect the app to my hub 3. I have tried both scanning and manual input, my device is connected to the WiFi with strong signal.

What's the error you see, and what phone and OS version you have?

If you're on iOS 14 make sure the Connect app has the local network permission enabled

App unable to find the hub

Nokia 3.1 plus android 10

I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled. Cleared the data. Now it wants me to "install the hub" but still can't find it.

To connect to WiFi when away from home. 

I am logged on and have a strong signal on my home WiFi, so why would the app want me to connect to the hub??

You don’t need to connect to your hub to setup hotspot access.

Thanks guys, I sorted the problem now. Needed to turn off VPN. Everything now Ok.
