Connect App won't set up

Using Android on virgin mobile, the app switches off the WiFi and asks to turn on mobile data. Mobile data is on but app just asks to turn on data.

Tried re-installing and turning data off and on.

Logged on ok on my daughter's iPhone, so I guess it's an Android problem.

It might depend on the mobile data package you are on and when you last topped up, especially if you are on a PAYG tariff.

If you also have VM broadband then temporarily remove the SIM from your phone and use your VM broadband credentials to set up the connect app.  Once you have done this you can replace the SIM card and continue to use the app.

Thanks for your help, I have set up the app without the SIM, all ok now.
