Hi,

We have been getting WiFi problems upstairs for the past 4/5 months, had virgin broadband for the past 2 years and never ever had a problem upstairs, now the past 4 months the WiFi upstairs is terrible to the point of not vleven my phone connects to it anymore, there's no change in the number of people or devices using the internet and downstairs it's perfect and quick even on the lowest fibre broadband, so I upgraded the internet to M350 for another £5 a month and we're still having the same problem, so I've rang VM as I've seen WiFi pods are now a thing however they want to charge me a further £8 for WiFi pods! Never had a problem before but the past 4 mo this the WiFi is hit and miss upstairs, I cannot justify another £8 a

I do hope you were not mis-sold an upgrade to M350 as that is not a fix for poor WI-Fi coverage.

It will be more cost effective to buy Wireless Repeaters than to rent VM Pods at £8 each per month from VM.

Dual band Wi-Fi repeaters begin from £23, here are some examples : https://www.argos.co.uk/search/wifi-repeater/

Hi Bibby1991

Thank you for your post and welcome to our community.

If you have our Gig1 Fibre Broadband, Ultimate Oomph package, or any Volt package, WiFi Max is included at no extra cost, which gives you access to our WiFi guarantee.

If you have M50 - M500 Fibre Broadband (without Volt), you can add our WiFi guarantee with WiFi Max for £8 a month.

Were the team over the phone able to review your package/discuss a possible Volt deal?

Please pop back to us when you can.
