Cardiff broadband down

Broadband went down an hour ago here in Cardiff. The automated tests said no issues (via phone call to 151) and a link was sent if rebooting didn't work. It didn't.

The link won't work either "This site can't be reached"!

Anyone else having problems?!

VM site was down for maintenance and CLOUDFARE were also doing so in Manchester so anyone who uses them would have outages but not sure if that is what effected VM mobile as system may rely on it also.

CLOUDFARE:

MAN (Manchester) on 2023-04-04
In progress - Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.
Apr 04, 2023 - 00:30 UTC
Scheduled - We will be performing scheduled maintenance in MAN (Manchester) datacenter on 2023-04-04
between 00:30 and 06:30 UTC. Traffic might be re-routed from this location, hence there is a possibility of a
slight increase in latency during this maintenance window for end-users in the affected region. For PNI / CNI
customers connecting with us in this location, please make sure you are expecting this traffic to fail over
elsewhere during this maintenance window as network interfaces in this datacentre may become temporarily
unavailable.

Hi Dave T52, I have been having problems with internet working one minute and cutting out the next minute. It has been going on for 11 days now, I'm in Cardiff too. :(((

Check for any “known network faults in your location - Look in 2 places

1) Try the “check service,”Area status webpage (https://www.virginmedia.com/help/service-status)

2) Then also Try the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues and fix estimates, down to street cab/ postcode level.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Mine's been fine since that time. No problems. Sorry to hear you've had issues though.
