Cant put Hub 3 into Modem mode.

Why wont my Hub3 work after I put it into Modem Mode?

First time I followed all the steps, the Hub appeared to do its thing resetting but the hub light was red with no wired or wifi connectivity.

Tried to log into hub via the 100 ip code. Kept saying wrong password, I also tried the hubs factory password again “wrong password.

Left with no other option than to factory reset the hub to get access to it.

So, tried again. Same thing. Light goes red, stays red with no connectivity.

 

Help!

Did you do a full 60 second pin hole reset?  Do not reboot after this, but let the Hub do it's thing.

Also when in Modem mode, there is no wifi and only one ethernet connection is available. This would connect to your Router or Mesh system etc.

The LED in Modem mode should be magenta, but it may look red to some people.

Hi there, 

No, just a 10 sec pin hole reset.

Then switched of for 60s.

I should still be able to log in via my laptop wired connection to the hub, but nothing.

Try the 60 sec reset. Do not reboot just let the Hub do its thing.

Thanks done the 60s reset, put into Modem mode the LED remains red BUT I managed to thing set up with my new router.

In modem mode the Hub light is meant to be "Magenta" - this looks red to some eyes in some lighting conditions - all is ok if it goes "white" when you switch it back to router mode
