Cant connect to wall socket

Ive just tried to set up my wifi at home.

When going to plug the cable into the socket on the wall I am unable to as it has been installed too close to the skirting board. I'm not sure where to go from here?

Re: Cant connect to wall socket

No unfortunately not. It's the actual 'plug' part of the cable that is too long to fit into the gap. I'm not sure how anything was plugged in there previously
