Cannot connect to work vpn

I have been unable to connect to my work vpn since Friday.

My work have advised there is no issue on their side and to contact Virgin media as other employees with Virgin media are reporting the same issues.

Please advise what is happening.

I try to connect to my work vpn and just get a message saying login failed.

Spoke to work and they have said everything is fine on their side.

Was working fine before Friday. 

Have tried to restart router and laptop. No luck.

What is the VPN software?

Yep just 'login failed'

VPN software is Cisco Anyconnect.

Spoke to VM just now and they told me something about port forwarding (whatever that means)

Login Failed usually means the username and/or password is incorrect

That's where the confusion is. Work are saying all is good with password/username and it's VM
