I've been connecting to Virgin Media's London Underground WiFi as a Vodafone customer for a few years. It seems that Vodafone are no longer supporting this. I can now login using my Virgin Media login details but it gives me an error each time I try and I end up in a perpetual loop.
Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Yeah go for it. I'm waiting for a call back from the complaints department today/tomorrow. I spoke to tech support in India but I'm not happy with their resolution which is to use the connect app. The connect app needs an internet connection to be able to find wifi hotspots to connect to so I'm not sure how that's going to work underground.
They weren't able to explain why the login portal has the option to login with your VM broadband/Vm Mobile details but didn't work - which is what I want a resolution to. EE & Three customers can just login with their details into the portal - it should be the same for VM customers - there shouldn't be the need for an additional app.
I'll post back here to let you know if there's any progress.

Cheers for that, and I agree with everything you said. I won't be using the Connect app, never needed to do it before and EE/Three/O2 customers don't need to do it. We shouldn't need to do something completely separate.

Hi kabowers,
Thank you for reaching out to us we are sorry to hear you are also having issues with the underground connection on your Vodafone Mobile, as you are still with Vodafone on your Mobile and not us this wouldn't effect you.
In order to connect using your Virgin media details you would need to use our Connect app as advised on previous posts.
Regards
Paul.

Paul - what does this say here if you're a Broadband customer:

Thank you but why is an additional app required, when it's not required for users of other mobile providers? What is the point of having "Virgin Media Broadband" as an option (the radio button on the login page) when it doesn't actually work? And what is the issue with the invalid SSL certificate? These are the issues I've been trying to figure out - I'm glad I found petenice's thread as they have articulated the entire issue very well.

Paul - please explain why this page exists:

Hi kabowers,
We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing, Vodafone no longer offer the underground service on their network, in order to use it use the app and log in before you go underground.

Paul,.

Oh my god Paul - are you intentionally being obtuse?
She is a Vodafone mobile customer like myself and is also a VM Broadband customer.
You have a login portal for the London Underground wifi that allows you to enter your VM Broadband details to login.
THIS ISN'T WORKING.

Hi petenice,
We are really sorry I have had a message back asking if you can try Via the connect app as the screenshot doesn't look like the sign in page for connect?
Regards
Paul.

Paul - if you're going to continue to ignore my questions and continue discussing the connect app please stop responding.
