Can't access Slack chat app

I am using Archer C2300 router with Virgin Hub 3.0 in modem mode. I use the Slack chat app for work and this isn't working. I have tried connecting via ethernet directly to the Hub3 in modem mode, and have the same problem. So this doesn't appear to be an issue with the router. Any ideas?

Log onto your VM account and look in the "My apps" section and see if "childsafe" is on. If so switch it off - it often blocks chat sites, gambling sites, etc.
