Buffering and very slow internet

Had engineer out in March said it was loose cables? 
Had multiple tech helpline chats . One of which was last night for 45 mins !!! 
still doing same . I’m not technical at all but I have looked at all help options including virgin connect etc 
I did run a speed test . I have 100 m package . 
my speed test said 

0.59 mbps download 

0.03 mbps upload 

Ping 101m

jitter 880 

44% loss 

I’m no expert but this really doesn’t seem right? 
according to virgin they ran test last night and says it’s fine 

I’m going out of my mind !!! 
help

I am guessing that is a Wi-Fi speed test.

What speeds do you get at >> speedtest.net << with a direct connection using a Cat 5E/6 or better cable between the Hub in Router Mode and a 1Gbs capable Pc/Mac/Chromebook and no other devices connected ?
