Buffering TV (ethernet) but not FireStick (WiFi)

Virgin went live 2 weeks ago - mostly good

We can watch streaming services (mostly) without issue - occasional buffering but not horrific.

However, we have ongoing issues with BBC iPlayer not playing thru the TV --- but it plays fine thru our FireStick.

Any ideas whats going on?

The Hub is connected via Ethernet to the TV located approx 2 feet away. The FireStick is connected by WiFi.

The engineer is coming back this week to swap out the Hub 3 with a Hub 5 and claims we will have much better coverage around the house and more reliable internet.

Try changing the ethernet cable to a new Cat6a one.  Old cables can and do drop connections - its easy to snap one of the 8 thin wire connections.

Might turn out to be a quick cheap fix.
