Broadband speed massively reduced

At 9.17 a.m. my broadband started bouncing and speed dropped to the point I had to hotspot my phone. Posted the issue on Twitter and worked with a virgin employee, but issue remains. Speeds down from 219/21 to randomly between 7/.21 and 30/.75. Checked cabling/rebooted/gone from modem mode to router and back. No change. Wireless connection or Ethernet both produce the same variations in low speed connectivity - v3 hub

I'm sorry to hear you're facing problems with your speeds, and connection. I've taken a look at things on our end, and I can see that there are some levels on your service that are out of specification, and are most likely causing these problems.
