Broadband slow speed / intermittent

Hi

 

I have hub 4

package M1000 .

Gaming pc is connected to router via Ethernet cable. Never had any issue before I got hub 4 & later upgraded package. 

 

everytime I reset router with pin 📌, I get full speed. However after sometime speed starts to drop to point where it’s 50Mbps or lower . However Upload remains same (52Mbps)

is hun 4 broke ?! Or what’s causing it. On virgin media website it shows broadband as intermittent.

 

I do have an engineer appointment booked as I am having this issue for 2 weeks now. 

1 engineer came and he fixed box in street n said he lowered SIGNAL , Signal was too high. WHAT DOES IT EVEN MEAN ?!

 

well while he was there speed was okay, after an hour later speed dropped again . 

I hope virgin media engineer will replace router n fix it.

 

I am posting it as maybe someone else had same issue ?
