Broadband problems

Hi, for the last few days my broadband connection has been next to nothing. I have checked and have attached the message I'm getting. I work from home and this is causing me major issues.

Also, every night around 12.30am, the Internet goes off for around 10 - 40 minutes, is this normal?

  • Thanks

If you were trying to attach a screenshot from the 'service status' page, it hasn't appeared.

Have you tried the automated service status number 0800 561 0061 to check for any faults in your area?

It says no issues in area but says that when I run a test

Check with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 If you have a VM landline 150 this goes down to post code level. You could also try the web page status, but this is not recommended as it only covers issues that affect a very large number of customers.

VM will not dispatch any technicians while an area fault exists.

If no area faults found:

The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post.

Hi @Dannilouxx

Welcome back to the community forums

Sorry to hear you're experiencing service issues at this time. I have taken a look at our side and can see that it looks like we'll need a technician to visit to investigate further. Please join me on private message so I can locate your account and pass account security. You can see your private messages at the top of the page, in the envelope icon.
