Broadband keeps dropping

My broadband in the house keeps dropping, easily 4-5 times a day. I had an old hub and updated to the Hub 3 on Thursday but if anything it has made things worse. The speed is great but it’s pointless if the connection keeps dropping - both wireless and wired devices. Rebooting the box bas not helped. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? A wiring issue maybe?

First check that the cables are seated correctly and nice and tight. 

Do all devices drop at the same time? Do the lights on the hub change during a drop?

Hi Gary,

All connections are connected and tight. All devices drop at the same time and the main light flashes green and there is a flashing green wireless sign.

Most likely an issue with power or noise levels on your cable connection.  If you connect to your hub, click "Check router status", and then post the full contents of the tabs titled Downstream, Upstream and Network log.  You'll have to copy and paste as text.  Then we can look for obvious faults and suggest courses of action.
