Broadband intermittently losing internet

Hi - My HUB 3 failed so I was sent a new one. This is plugged in & setup as Modem mode. My PC keeps losing connection & delays in webpages. I have turned it off and checked all the Cables are plugged in correctly including the Ethernet for the PC. The HUB is showing lots of Post RS Errors.

Power off the hub.

Unscrew and reseat the coax cable at both ends making sure they’re nice and tight, then power it on again.

Give it ~60 minutes and check the logs again to see if the Post RS errors climb again.

Hi thanks for your reply. 

I have powered off the HUB & removed the Coax cable at both ends and using the provided Tool connected it all back up 2 times now over 5 hours.

Nope Still the Same issue, Intermittently losing internet and High number of Post RS errors.

Looks like you have a real connection problem that is going to need VM input and a tech visit.

To complete the data set for the "proof" can you also post up the data for the Upstream channels and also the network logs.

Also, in the meantime if you haven't already.... Set up a free “Broadband Quality Monitor” to continually monitor the state of your connection and record any true network dropouts - it will thus allow you to differentiate between those and simple wifi dropouts. It does it 24/7/365 and it keeps a visual record of any/all of your network disconnections, useful data to have to match to the Network logs (in your Hub settings) and also in discussions with VM - note it will take a few hours to start seeing a sensible picture.

Hopefully Virgin Media Tech support could help! just to be sure, Disconnected and reattached cables. Left Hub running for a few hours. Still same issue with internet connection dropping out, Kid saying he cant play online & keeps get disconnected. Looked at the Logs still loads of RS post errors. This has been going on for a few days now and its so annoying for the lack of service

Still having issues with my internet it keeps disconnecting, Internet is slow.

New HUB did'nt make a difference, I've rebooted it this morning & I've checked all the Cable. Still same problems
