Broadband flashing green

I have had a green flashing light on my broadband router I have followed the steps provided by Virgin check cables reboot ect ect but nothing. Virgin report no issues in my area and have said I will need an engineer to come out to check but I am only able to book an appt for Tuesday it’s Saturday night now and was cut off when someone answered the phone on customer services when I called at 21:53 I suppose 22:00 means cut off. I had this issue before that resolved itself after a day or so but I spoke to someone with Virgin and was told if I were to pay a monthly subscription I would be able to book an engineer quicker has anyone herd of this

Try the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues down to street cab/ postcode level. If nothing is reported...

Then a Tech visit in 2 working days is pretty good for a residential package which has no SLA,
